Welcome to Norman's Barn Holiday Home
Norman's Barn
is situated on Ingles Hill Farm, so called after Dr. Matthew
Ingles. It lies 1 mile from the town centre and is beautifully
set overlooking "Ivanhoe's" tournament field and the lovely
Smisby valley. To the south is Prestop Park - one of the
three original great parks of Ashby-de-la-Zouch which
is also part of Ingles Hill Farm.

The barn was originally
an old cowshed with lofts over, later used as a store
and garage until its recent conversion into a luxurious
self-catering accommodation. Ingles Hill is still run
as a working farm but the animals have given way to 130
acres of parkland and woodland forming part of the National
Forest. There are ample opportunities for walking and
there will be future opportunities for golfers to practice
on the newly sown parkland which incorporates a few golf
holes.
Ashby-de-la-Zouch is ideally centred for exploring. Conkers,
Twycross Zoo, Bosworth Battlefield, NEC, and three National
Trust houses - Calke Abbey, Sudbury and Kedleston Halls
- are all within easy access, as are the delights of Derbyshire
- to name but a few of the nearby places of interest.
